Communications consultancy Perceptive Communicators recruits three new team members to support growing client work

Perceptive clients are transforming lives and improving futures through work in the built environment, life sciences, healthcare, economic development and technology sectors

Award-winning Glasgow-based communications consultancy Perceptive Communicators has strengthened its team with three new appointments, one promotion and the creation of a new PR & Communications Manager post which is now being advertised.

These roles follow several new client wins and additional work being secured with existing clients.

Former Herald journalist Agnes Stevenson joined the organisation in March as a communications consultant. Agnes is working with Perceptive’s built environment, health, and economic development clients, including landscape architect and urban design firm, HarrisonStevens, housebuilder Cruden Group and global contact lens manufacturer, Menicon.

Sean Lafferty has been recruited as communications consultant. Sean brings in-house public relations and public affairs experience, having worked in the Scottish Parliament and on high-profile political campaigns. Sean also worked in Glasgow Science Centre’s media team. He now supports Perceptive’s built environment, life science and economic development clients, such as structural engineering consultants, Will Rudd and urban regeneration company Clyde Gateway, to raise their profile, building their reputation to achieve their organisational goals.

The third new recruit, Hannah Connaghan joins the team from the City of London Corporation's Brussels office. With previous agency experience Hannah is raising the profile of Menicon, international architecture practice BDP, civil engineers, Akela Group and several housebuilders including Cruden Group, Briar Homes, AS Homes and Muir Homes.

The firm has also promoted Ann-Marie Fry to account director after joining in 2019 as Communications Consultant. Following two successful years, Ann-Marie now leads several built environment, life sciences and technology  client accounts including Caledonia Housing Association, Shawfair - Scotland’s best connected new town - and innovative timber frame manufacturer, Scotframe.

Julie Moulsdale, managing director at Perceptive Communicators, said: “We are very focused on developing our existing team, so are delighted to have promoted Ann-Marie. We are fortunate to have very loyal clients who have asked for more support in helping them achieve their goals.  We have also won several new clients, so it’s great to welcome Sean and Hannah with their skills and experience to the team to support this additional client work. We have a long standing relationship with Agnes and are very pleased to have such a talented individual as a permanent part of our team. We are also recruiting for another team member to support our growth.

“We have given very careful consideration to the onboarding process during lockdown and now through our hybrid working model. We really appreciate the support of the existing team and the newer members of the team in making this work well.

“All Perceptive clients are transforming lives and improving futures through work in the built environment, life sciences, healthcare, economic development and technology sectors.”
