Ravenscraig momentum continues with completion of Motus Commercials facility

Ravenscraig has reached another key milestone with the completion of Motus Commercials’ new 38,000 sq ft workshop and sales facility for DAF Commercials, part of the Motus Group (UK).

Located within Ravenscraig’s dedicated employment zone, SevenFourEight, the new workshop and sales facility will support the sale, servicing and maintenance of heavy goods vehicles, enabling Motus Commercials to expand its operations and meet growing customer demand across Scotland. The business, which operates as the UK’s largest dealer group for DAF Trucks, has relocated from its previous Bellshill site, providing increased capacity and improved working conditions for its team.

The completion marks the latest step in the ongoing transformation of Ravenscraig, one of Europe’s largest brownfield regeneration projects, as it continues to attract major employers and investment to North Lanarkshire.
