Stuart Young

I joined Perceptive in April 2022 bringing well over a decade's worth of PR and communications experience from various inhouse and agency roles. Having spent time in the press office at both The Forestry Commission and Edinburgh Airport, as well as working with a range of international consumer brands and high profile public sector organisations, I have pretty much seen it all.

I'm a passionate communicator and really enjoy delivering successful insight-driven communications strategies for my clients which will achieve their objectives. I'm a firm believer in getting your sleeves rolled up and stuck in and it was Perceptive's fierce commitment to its clients and team culture which really attracted me to the business.

Outside of work I relish getting out into the hills and am an amateur Munro bagger, although I still have a lot to bag...Long walks with our cockapoo, Lexi, also take up a lot of my time. The future also looks like it will involve a lot of DIY as we renovate our house.

What's my claim to fame you ask? Well if you ever saw the multi-award winning (kidding) fly-on-the-wall documentary, Inside Edinburgh Airport, in 2013, you would have seen me involved in a comical escapade with a highland cow called Susie in the terminal. And they say PR isn't glamorous!
